YOUR DATA, KEPT SMALL
HEXA is a puzzle, not a social network. We keep only what's needed to run the game, show your results and power leaderboards.
WHAT WE STORE
If you choose a HEXA name, we store that name, a random player ID, a private device key, and your game results: which puzzle, your time, hints used, challenge type, the date, badges earned, and any collection photos you choose to add. That's it.
COLLECTION PHOTOS
If you add photos of your HEXA to your collection, we store them privately under your HEXA name. Only you can see them (the TapLife team may remove inappropriate photos). Photos are resized in your browser before upload, which removes hidden details like GPS location. Please keep faces and personal info out of the picture.
WHAT WE DON'T ASK FOR
We never ask for your real name, email, phone, address, birthday, school, location or social accounts. There are no public profiles, profile pictures, bios, messages or followers.
YOUR HEXA NAME IS PUBLIC
Your HEXA name appears on leaderboards. Please don't use your real name or anything that identifies you. Names that break the rules can be reset by the TapLife team.
HOW YOU'RE RECOGNISED
Your player key is saved in your browser's local storage so the game remembers you. Clearing browser data or switching devices means starting fresh. Your player ID is never shown publicly.
NO AD TRACKING
HEXA doesn't use advertising trackers or invasive analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.
FAIR PLAY
Submitted times are checked on our servers. Suspicious results can be flagged or removed from leaderboards.
CHANGE OR DELETE
You can change your HEXA name or delete all your HEXA data at any time from Your HEXA — no extra details needed.
PHYSICAL HEXA & NFC
Tapping a physical HEXA only opens a puzzle or challenge link. No personal customer information is stored in those links.
